Hi. I am a 26 year old who BADLY wants to be a producer. I am a COMPLETE beginner. I am disheartened by the fact that I am starting late (I feel). Most people who are sucessful in their field, were in it from their late teens, not learning in their late 20s.
I really want fresh futuristic chords of the Neptunes, and the soulful minor new jack swing chords of Teddy Riley, but all I know at the moment is the left hand side of the circle of fifths. I have to read aloud notes from sheet music, starting from E on the treble clef (the higher staff?) and G on the bass clef. I can sometimes hear the diff between a major second? interval (C-D) and minor second? (C-Db).
I just wish I started earlier. |

| Don't be discouraged theagx. Some of the greatest russian composers and pianists also started in their twenties. You can still be very good if you commit to it. |

| That's right, dont get discouraged. And dont compare yourself you others who are ahead of you coz u will just get discouraged the more. The best thing is for you to take one step at a time.Prayer is the best way to get things that are impossible. |
