I am a missionary living in Paraguay with my family. My husband and I have 3 kids, the oldest two are in the United States and our youngest is still at home. I must admit, serving the Lord wasn't much of a sacrifice when we were young and had the kids home and my parents were on the mission field but separation from family isn't easy. Aside from that, though, there is no better job on the earth, and ultimately, only serving the Lord, wherever He wants you to be, will satisfy.

We work in the city now but have worked in a remote jungle location for most of our career.

I love music and took 3 months of piano lessons as a child. I play the guitar and accompany worship but would love to be able to play piano well enough to accompany singing.

Learning new languages and cultures has been challenging and very interesting. We have worked with primitive people who have little formal education but have learned 5 or more languages. They have been delightful friends to us.
