I have recently acquired a new keyboard, a KORG PA1x and greatly enjoy it. I still have my Kurzweil PA88X which I would be willing to sell and a Technics KN8000 which I would also be willing to sell. Initially I was unsure that the KOG would meet all my needs but I find it exceeds my expectationsd and is totally satisfactory.
For studio amplification, I use 2 60 watt Roland cube Keyboard amplifiers which are outstandingly powerful and rugged. They are the old silver ones. I also use a Yorkville Sound sub, the new one they brought out in 2007 for about $275. It is an unbelievable value for the money and it capably fills a 500 person banquet hall with lows without even beginning to "breathe hard".
I am available for professional engagements for Jewish celebrations and any manner of dinner music or cocktail hour. I tend to prefer Jazz stylings but am capable in others. I have a large repertoire of Christian praise and worship pieces as well as complete memorized set of all the best-known hymn tunes. I have a good grasp of Cantorial tunes and poular Jewish music.
The Yorkville Sub I use is the YSS2. See http://www.yorkville.com/products.asp?type=33&cat=20&id=364
The following are its specs.
YSS2 - 150w 10-inch Active Studio Subwoofer
The ultra-compact 150-watt Yorkville YSS2 active studio subwoofer is the ideal companion for any DAW, project or midi studio where additional bottom end in the monitoring system is required, yet space may be at a premium. Designed for easy hook-up to any source, the YSS2 offers stereo RCA In / Outs for connection between mixer and active near field monitors, as well as speaker push terminal In / Outs for connection between power amplifier and passive full range cabinets.
Stereo inputs are summed to create a mono subwoofer mix in the YSS2
