Although Jermaine's Virtual Chord Finder is a very useful resource for working out any chord, what do we do when we're sitting at the piano and don't have access to a computer or Internet Phone?  If you're not very competent with chords... you struggle.  In this article I will explain how you can easily work out almost any chord as well as briefly discussing inversions.

Most people can sit down at a piano and figure out a melody after a few minutes but a lot of people have trouble putting chords to that melody. In this article, you'll learn the basics of playing by ear, that is taking a melody and harmonizing it with chords. You'll learn the "Harmonization Scale".
