I am Visually Impaired (RP). Love to play on my keyboards, saxaphone, and computer. I use Sonar Producer 4, Jaws, which is a talking software, caketaking scripts that assist in the communication with Sonar. Everything is hooked into the Mackie and soundcard so everything can work together. This includes, my keyboards, modules, and midi interface.
I have an option to work in Sonar or the Motif by itself with the reference notes. Plus I have a network of associates and friends to assist me. My Mom, brother, and Dad helps with the tech stuff in getting everything configured with the computer. (That was a JOB!)LOL
I REALLY HAVE BE BLESSED BY BEING A PART OF THE HEAR AND PLAY COMMUNITY! I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE. IT IS HARD TO FIND SOMEONE WILLING TO TEACH A VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSON, BUT SINCE WE DISCOVERED HERE AND PLAY, ITS BEEN TIGHT! I REALLY ENJOY MY DVDS AND THE NEWSLETTERS ARE REAL GOOD! THE ZONE IS OFF THE HOOK!!! p.s Ya'll go check out www.moaccess.info site!! This is the website for Blind/visually impaired user's of the Yamaha Motif line of keyboard/work stations!! There is a handful of us on there that have done Audio tutorial demonstrations as well as text and html documents that help us learn and munver the motif by memory!! These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
